7/27/09: Jolene Brink, a regional organizer, takes time to relate the story of her trip to the audience. Everyone has had a different experience, but all were dramatic, life changing events. Most of these people grew up with financial stability and a good education. They know that there was suffering and poverty in their country, but now they understand it first hand. The people who they met on their travels to DC are the ones who climate change will effect the most. Those with money, education, and power will not suffer, but will decide the fates of those without.
