3/31/09: No one was surprised about the violations, but the questions that kept coming up were "why now?" and ":why so quickly?" There seemed to be some motive other than keeping the city up to code. Everyone know that it would be impossible to fix all the code violations in any reasonable time, and the cost of the project would be over $100,000, money that the Rhizome did not have.
