5/3-5/09: In San Diego, we visited the world renowned zoo, went to a meeting of San Diego Roots, ran across Food not Bombs, and visited a community garden at City College. Despite these things, sustainability hasn't really taken off here. This is probably because it's always so beautiful that it's difficult to think about the troubles of the world.
