4/24/09: At first I thought, "oh great, more construction right outside the park" (or "oh desert, yours is the only death I cannot bear" -Edard Abbey being somewhat overdramatic). But then it turned out that this was a Uranium reclamation site. They were digging up nuclear refuse that had been dumped here and transerrinf it to safer storage.
