Your donations will primarily go toward purchasing carbon credits to offset our footprint. It is difficult to live sustainably on the road, but by educating people about sustainability, we hope to counter our waste. Carbon credits, though not a perfect system, are a good way to compensate for any harm we are causing. We will purchase all of our credits through Trees for the Future (www.treesftf.org), a Silver Spring, MD-based non-profit. Any excess will help us cover the other costs of our journey, including equipment and basic necessities.

OGA is not an officially recognized organization; we exist soley through our own savings and your contributions.
