Let me tell you a secret. It is embarrassing, but I will trust you with it. Here it is. Up until recently, I didn’t really know what a blog was. (Really? Is that possible? How sad, how unfortunate.) Yep, I agreed to do this blog and had no grasp on what I was enthusiastically saying I would do. Sure, I had heard of them and once upon a time I even kept a LiveJournal like a typical teenager/college student. But since this new blog culture had picked up momentum, I had never actually read a blog regularly. Hence, my absolute cluelessness about writing blogs. Yeah, everyone says “a blog is whatever you want it to be”, but I am a ridiculous English major who is		obsessed with form. I didn’t trust myself with writing them until I realized how freeform they really can be. I’ve been so silly and uptight and intimidated. So I would like to say I am sorry. I’ll work hard to keep up this blog. I’ll catch you up and I’ll keep you updated along the way. We’ve got about 2 months left. Keep checking up on our site, there will be tons to read. I owe it to you. I owe to John (who’s been doing an amazing job with his galleries and with being patient with me). And I owe it to all the wonderful and genuine people that we’ve been meeting along the way. This is Our Green America and that includes you. Join us for the ride.
