Seriously, could you imagine stuffing a kayak into the back of a Honda Fit? Without a factory-installed rack, taking big gear with you in any kind of car but an SUV or minivan is pretty much impossible. However with Thule’s easily-installed racks, you can take your kayak, bike, or any gear that is just too darn big to fit inside the car anywhere you need to go. With Thule’s help, we were able to acquire a roof rack fitted to our Honda Fit as well as a weatherproof cargo bag. I had been talking about getting a roof rack for my car for at least a year now and this was the perfect opportunity to get one. With it, life will be more manageable while we travel and live out of our car for the next five months. We are using the weatherproof cargo bag for all of our camping gear, so this allows us to have a free third seat in the car for the occasional traveling visitor.
