| I found this article on the bulletin board at the USDA labs where our friend Kim (a member of the derby team) was working. It's from Fargo's Forum newspaper, and highlights the new Roller Derby team starting up in Fargo/Moorehead. Roller Derby is a great answer to all male contact sports, though it's a bit more dangerous than football. If you've never been to a derby, go. It's a spectacle if nothing else. It'll ruin baseball games for you though: they'll just seem, well, slow. "This would be cooler on wheels," you'll find yourself thinking. |
